🀘 New Year Reflection & Visioning: Ask Yourself These Questions

Hey there! Happy New Year!

I hope your first week was recharging. I know for me, I needed it to get reset, reflect, set my vision, and get recharged for what's next (especially after a socially intense holiday season where my son also turns 7 and has an all day rager with his cousins who come in town to visit 😜).

If you'd like to do the same, I'd encourage you to actually pause, look at your life clearly, and ask yourself some questions that matter (and could unlock some powerful insights for you)

Grab a journal (or just hit reply) and work through these:

  • How do you feel about the past year? What were your emotional highlights and lowlights?
  • When did you feel at your best the past year? (e.g. in Flow, on purpose, having fun, making a meaningful impact)
  • Where do you want to be a year from now? What do you need to do or learn to get there?
  • What kind of person are you becoming? Who do you want to be? What values will you live by?
  • Are you on the best path to become the person and live the life that you want?
  • What course corrections or changes in your life do you need to implement this year?
  • What are you holding on to that you need to let go of?
  • Where are you most afraid of taking decisive action? What’s the bold move you know in your heart that you need to make?
  • What kind of support do you need from others and where will you find it?
  • What project would you love to make meaningful progress on over the next month? What would a meaningful milestone be for it to work towards by Feb 10th

Here's what I'd love for you to do:

πŸ‘‰ Reply to this email and share your responses. Or share the questions you're contemplating about your vision and goals this year.

I'll read every response and send you back additional guidance, coaching questions, or suggestions tailored to what you're working through.

And if you feel a bit lost or want to try a different approach, you can experiment with a free tool of mine: the Creative Vision Scorecard

It's a free, 5-7 minute diagnostic tool that could help you get honest with yourself about where you stand in terms of these four dimensions:

🎯 Clarity: Can you clearly see where you're going, and what you're leaving behind?
πŸ”₯ Motivation: Are you chasing what you truly want, or what you think you "should" want?
🎯 Focus: Have you cut through the noise, or are you scattered across too many ideas?
πŸš€ Momentum: Are you ready to move, or still spinning in place?

πŸ‘‰ Take the free Creative Vision Scorecard.

You'll get instant results, a complete PDF report, and personalized insights for your lowest-scoring dimension.

And feel free to hit reply after you take and share with me:

  • What you discovered
  • What surprised you
  • Where you want to focus in 2026

Wishing you a rockin' 2026. 🀘

P.S. - If your scorecard reveals that you're ready to stop circling and start committing, the Bigger, Better Bolder 1:1 coaching program might be exactly what you need. I'll be working with my first round of 4-5 clients starting next week, doing the work alongside them to sharpen the program and amplify all of our creative visions together.

Hey there! We're at one of my favorite moments on the calendar. The end of a quarter AND the end of a month (and the beginning-ish of Spring - the season all about bringing new things to life!), landing on the same week. That means it's the perfect time to zoom out, take a breath, and ask yourself some honest questions before diving into what's next. Here's what I know from coaching hundreds of creative people and entrepreneurs: the ones who build real momentum aren't the ones who grind...

🀘 Happy beginning of Spring. Spring is literally a season of transition. Things that were dormant start moving again. New energy shows up. And it's a natural time to ask: what's waking up for me? What needs a new rhythm? I don't know about you, but seasonal shifts always make me pause. Not in a "new year, new me" kind of way. More like a gut check. Is what I'm doing still aligned with where I'm headed? Here's something I've been working through with coaching clients lately (and honestly, with...

Thanks to everyone who joined me for Thursday's workshop on designing effective habits. You can get the replay soon if you are a member of Domestika (which I highly recommend if you love learning and you are a creative person): "Designing (and Sticking to) Effective Habits for Creative People" If you missed it, here's the short version: The best habits for creative people are tiny, controllable, convenient, repeatable (with the appropriate "rhythm"), enjoyable, and connected to a goal you...
